I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I don’t understand from where to start the appreciation of this amazing book, it has everything in it like passion,determination,drama,family,struggle,love,pain,and at last but not least M-U-S-I-C 🎵
Maude Laurent is a very inspiring character who lived many years under the strict and cruel survillence of her foster parents( I know it may sound like some Disney princess story,but still it’s story is very absorbing) but still fought so that her voice could be heard and with the support of her new found family and a teen pop star, Matt who helps her through the journey as she explores various layers and aspects of music ,life and her tangled relation with him.
she also learns some truths( I’ll not reveal everything because as I say “If you want to feel it, then You must read it”, and this book is free on Amazon) about her past which also shatters her within but also helps her to strengthen her relationship with the Baldwin ( her new family in which James found her),
filled with passion of music Maude embarks her journey from north of France to the illuminating city of New York with a dream to bring classic and pop together , let’s see if she succeeds with this .

I Loved The Book( OH! did already say that ,never mind) . maude’s dignity before music is enough to fill anyone with motivation and I also liked her attitude of ” keeping her head high even when situations are worst” she is an epitome of how today generation girls are and should be and about anna I like her imagination of showing the lead character(Maude) as ” a girl with chocolate brown skin”. I also loved the legendary fights that took off between maude and matt,which they ended up both regretting.

My dislikes💔:
The one and only thing i disliked about this novel is the starting ,the very beginning of this story is very common , which if any reader starts reading would leave it halfway just because of the common plot of the story and would find it boring and miss the chance of reading such a beautiful novel.

Otherwise this french girl is rocking .
